Mental health issues are responsible for up to 50% of all sick leave in the UK and cost the economy up to £99 billion per year.

Igor Čerenšek is a graduate of a four-year psychology program at the University of Minnesota in the United States. He obtained his master’s degree at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Until 2008, he pursued a professional swimming career and represented Croatia in numerous European and world championships, Mediterranean Games, and the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. After finishing his swimming career, he started working professionally with athletes as a coach, sports advisor, and mental trainer.
Igor specializes in mental training for athletes and the general population, as well as mental training in a business context. As a psychologist, he has had the opportunity to work with several hundred elite athletes, Olympians, and Olympic medalists, as well as various sports teams at several World Championships.
He is the owner and director of Mental Training Center Ltd., which provides services in elite sports and business training, counseling, and mental training for various sports. He initiated the first national education program for coaches in the field of sports psychology, and his company offers online courses and publishes books available in Croatian and English on different platforms. Currently, he holds the position of Head of the Department of Psychology at the Center for Research and Development of Sports Preparation at the Croatian Olympic Committee.
Igor has obtained several diplomas and certificates through additional education, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Business Trainer; NLP Practitioner; Block Periodization under the guidance of Prof. Yuri Hanin; Performance Optimization in Olympic Athletes; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (Level 2 trainee); Hypnotherapist (completed the first level of education).
Throughout his sports and academic career, Igor has received numerous awards and achievements. Some of them include the Top 5 Student-Athletes at the University of Minnesota (2007); Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the University of Minnesota’s Sports Department (2007); Academic All American, selection of the best student-athletes in the United States (2005-2007); Finalist in the World and European Championships (2002 and 2006); Recognition from the U.S. Senate for the Olympic Games in Athens (2004); Medalist at the Mediterranean Games (2001).
Some of the clients Igor has worked with or currently works with include Lolo Jones (Olympic athlete from the U.S.), Borna Ćorić (top 50 ATP tennis player), Damir Martin (silver medalist rower from the Rio 2016 Olympics), Anđela Mužinić (silver medalist Paralympian from Rio), Lovro Majer (football player for FC Rennes and Croatian national team), and many others. He also works as a motivational speaker and has conducted numerous training sessions for companies such as Pliva, Atlantic, Bellabeat Ltd, Dell, Erickson, Mylan, Pfizer, Deloitte, E&Y, Medika, Raiffeisen Bank, HRT, RTL, INA, Tifon, STSI, Jamnica, Heineken, dm, and many others.
Currently, in addition to providing mental training for sports and business, as well as consulting for small companies and start-up companies, Igor writes books. He is the author or co-author of several books and papers.

His previous enterprise, RocketDBS, effectively engaged over 100,000 users through its mobile apps and customer engagement platforms. With Rocket Tomica ha worked with the most prominent companies in the region such as Triglav Insurance Group, Mlinar, bio&bio, as well as many other local and international companies. This experience has been instrumental in shaping the robust and user-centric digital architecture of Sanity.
